MADRIGAL BUILD DAY

Immediate Concerns for Madrigal Singers/Brass

• Unload Trees and Greenery from in front of school (8am)

• Unload Storage Trucks in front of school

Custodians/Maintenance

• Sweep floors

• Large Storage Area Hauling with students

• Cut off Bottoms of the Trees with students

• Put Up Wall on the Back of the Dais

• Lighting and Frames Hung

Brass

• Pot trees

• Adjust and make sure they are straight

• Run large brooms over floor making sure all is cleaned up

• Take large wreaths to choir room put in front of room

• Bring chimes & mallet from the band room to the cafeteria

• Help with Dais Platform set up/chair set up

• After madrigal table is set up, set up all greenery on dais platforms

Characters

• Bring carts to auditorium

• Fetch Large Carts and bring between the madrigal tower and auditorium

• Get suits of armor from Classrooms (put in pit - 2025)

• Join Madrigal Singers list

Madrigal Sopranos and Altos

• Locate and bring ladders to the cafeteria hall

• Help Brass with Trees

• Assemble Madrigal, LL, Brass Platforms

• Install Brass Triangle Wooden Piece

• Attach Ceiling Skirts for LL, Brass, and Harps

• Attach Dais Skirts for LL and Brass

• Hang Paper Pictures on Dais Walls

• Put Metal Stairs on Dais’

Madrigal Tenors and Basses

• Joe/Greg/Bill still building Dais structures and putting up. Ask them how you can help with lighting/structure set up

• We plan to float the extension cords in the ceiling this year rather than tape them down - Ask Joe

• Load storage trucks/Unload storage trucks

• Assemble Madrigal, LL, Brass Platforms

• Set up chairs on dais behind tables; fix any issues

• Move wooden barrel w/ wood pieces behind LL dais

• Assemble LL and Brass Walls

• Assemble R Crested LL Table

• Assemble Mad Table

• Assemble Big Dumb Doors

Chamber Altos (only Need 2-3)

• Until Food Drive is over, small items on stage by box number

• Don’t tape up signs until later in the week

• Guide students where things need to go in Auditorium

• Put boxes and storage set pieces in proper place

• Help cleaning tower and then cafeteria

• Tape Up Signs According to Map

Recorders and Chamber Sopranos/Altos

• Steam and Iron Felt

• Clean Tower (Ask Joe for Mop and dusting supplies)

• Help in Cafeteria

• Count and Wash Napkins (300)

• Count table cloths (at least 23)

All Choirs and Tech

• Bring stuff down from the Tower

• Assist with organization

• Clean Tower (later in day)

• Bring fake walls to auditorium

• Assemble fake trees

• Put new batteries in candles
